Chimney SweepingBrushes

We begin all service calls with a level 1 inspection to determine the condition of your chimney. We look for creosote buildup and other foreign objects (animals, broken flue tiles etc.) that may be blocking or inhibiting proper operation.

If we find ¼” buildup of soot, any second or third stage creosote or any object in the chimney that should not be there then your chimney will need to be swept. We then prepare the area to protect your home from soot that is stirred up during the cleaning process. We use a large HEPA vacuum that cleans the air as we sweep.

We use any number of tools/ brushes, and scrappers to clean the entire chimney including the smoke shelve and firebox if it is a fireplace. Depending on your chimney we may clean the chimney from the top or the bottom. When we finish and clean the area up we will fill out a condition report and present it to you.
